Brandie Provenzano

I am a teacher of amazing 9th- and 11th-grade students at Battlefield High School in Haymarket, Virginia. I have a bachelor’s in English and a master’s in education. After teaching for seven years, I became National Board certified. I have three boys, who inspire me to be the kind of teacher I want them to have. I care deeply for my students and am continuously awed with what they are willing to do for a teacher they like. I am a champion of underdogs and love to see students develop self-esteem and self-confidence through taking risks and pushing their own boundaries.
