Alana Harte

Alana Harte, Ed.D. is the head of school at an independent setting in New England. She has been in education for more than 15 years and has also held roles of English teacher, reading specialist, dean of students, and assistant head of school in public and independent settings. Alana is passionate about the intersection of literacy, environmental justice, and equitable instructional practices. She is also a qualitative researcher and equity consultant who works with schools, municipalities, and companies throughout New England.
