Alison Hirata

Alison is a career educator, facilitator, and curriculum developer. She has worked both in the classroom and taught less conventional forms of education, including outdoor education. She has been privileged to contribute to some groundbreaking curriculum initiatives, including curriculum for Native Knowledge 360 and a unique cultural curriculum tailored specifically for the Muckleshoot Tribal School (in Western Washington). She is currently a subject matter expert for a Crash Course episode series on Native American History.
