Ann Gilcrease

Middle School Educator

Ann Katherine Gilcrease is a dedicated educator with a rich and diverse background in teaching and leadership roles across various educational settings. She holds a Master of Education in Teaching, Learning & Leadership from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University.

With certifications in multiple subjects and specialties, including multilingual learners (ELL), English Language Arts, the humanities, music, and school administration, Ann consistently demonstrates her commitment to fostering inclusive and innovative learning environments. Her experience spans a wide range of roles: teaching English overseas, environmental education, music, middle school English, the IB Middle Years Programme, serving as an academic and career advisor, dean of students, mentoring new teachers for universities, and finally, serving as a middle school principal.
