Becca Smith

I am a high school English teacher in Dallas, Texas, and I am deeply passionate about building meaningful relationships with students. I've worked closely with the Institute for Learning in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to research increasing rigor in ELA classrooms across the district. I serve on my Campus Instructional Leadership Team and as the team lead for my content. I believe that connecting with students is the key to success in secondary education.
