Chris Bryner

As a former dean of students at a small college in Alaska, Chris began as an educator working with college students and other adults prior to becoming an elementary classroom teacher. Now, as the director of performance character at Athlos Academies, he’s combined these two experiences into the meaningful work of helping teachers implement social and emotional learning opportunities with their students. He spends most of his professional time developing SEL curriculum and professional development, and his personal time drinking specialty coffee and playing outside in his hometown of Boise, Idaho.
