Christopher Pepper
Health Education Content Specialist from San Francisco, CA
I have been teaching in SFUSD since 2002, and have taught thousands of students in San Francisco. Currently, I help lead SFUSD’s high school sexuality education and HIV prevention efforts, and coordinate the district’s Young Men’s Health Project.
I have a passionate belief that all young people deserve high-quality, fact-based information about their bodies and their health, and frequently write and speak about those issues.
In addition to teaching, I have written about health, sexuality, relationships, food, travel, technology, and music for numerous publications including The San Francisco Bay Guardian, CitySearch, SonicNet, The West Australian, Daddy Dialectic, Oxygen.com, and Food & Wine. I worked as a sexuality educator on San Francisco Sex Information switchboard for more than 5 years, and have done significant volunteer work focusing on rape prevention and HIV/AIDS prevention.
