Denise Harshbarger

This is my 17th year as an educator. I spent 11 years as a middle school science teacher and three years as a professional developer for small and rural districts in Florida, and have been a middle school assistant principal for the past three years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology, my master’s in science education, and my doctorate in education. My greatest joy in my work is helping students and teachers work toward being the best version of themselves. I am passionate about noncognitive factors, teacher action research, cognitive neuroscience, and leadership development. You can follow me on Twitter @harshbargerd
