Elizabeth Gunderson

Elizabeth Gunderson, Ph.D., is an associate professor of psychology at Temple University and a Learning Sciences Exchange fellow at New America. Her research, funded by the National Science Foundation and the James S. McDonnell Foundation, examines cognitive and motivational processes that impact students’ math learning. Her recent work has investigated the roles of spatial thinking, number line estimation, parental interactions, and growth mindsets on students’ math learning.
