I have been a 7th grade social studies teacher for 15 years, the last three at Winterset Junior High. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Northern Iowa and my Masters Degree in Education is from Viterbo University in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. I had a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher who brought a feeling of joy, excitement, challenge and caring into his classroom and those are the very same values that inspired me to become a teacher and I strive to create in my classroom as well.
