Katie Brown

Katie Brown is the principal at Nooksack Elementary School in Everson, Washington. She has an undergraduate degree in anthropology from Western Washington University, followed by teaching and administration credentials. She holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Seattle Pacific University and a doctor of education degree from Walden University. She was also the 2014 Washington State Teacher of the Year. Her 20-year career includes time spent as a classroom teacher, ELL specialist, TOSA (teacher on special assignment), and principal.
