Katie Mauro

Katie Mauro is a library media specialist at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. She has a passion for incorporating ecoliteracy and technology into her media lessons and always jumps at the opportunity to team her students up with experts in their field. Katie has been named a Connecticut PAEMST state finalist and a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions. Katie is currently working toward a MAT in biological sciences at Miami University.
