Kelly Kleinertz

Kelly Kleinertz works as a middle school science teacher at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, California, located steps away from the La Jolla tide pools. Kelly strives to connect her students with the local environment through place-based learning experiences. Kelly is a graduate student with Project Dragonfly at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Through her work, she hopes to develop eco-literate adolescents who have the skills and passion to advocate for the well-being of themselves, their communities, and the natural world.
