Kristie Camp

Kristie Camp is a National Board Certified teacher who taught secondary ELA for 26 years. She recently defended her dissertation, which centered on adolescent literacy in the outdoor classroom. She will graduate with a PhD in language and literacy from the University of South Carolina in May 2025. She served as department chair and as an AP reader for Language and Composition while also working with her local affiliate of the National Writing Project.
