Kristin Leong, M.Ed. is an editor, multimedia producer, and former middle school humanities teacher. She served three terms as a Washington State Teacher Leader and has been a TED-Ed Innovative Educator since 2016. Her portrait and interview project, Roll Call, has been used in classrooms around the world to spark conversations between students and teachers on connecting across cultural divides.
Previously, she was a producer with Seattle’s NPR affiliate, KUOW Public Radio and the senior editor of ParentMap. With the support of a Creative Capital “Wild Futures” award, she is currently working on a book about America’s family court system. ROCK PAPER RADIO is her newsletter for misfits and unlikely optimists.
