Kristy Brugar
Professor of Education
Kristy Brugar is an associate professor of social studies education, instructional leadership, and academic curriculum department chair, and the Robert L. and Nan A. Huddleston Presidential Professor of Education at the University of Oklahoma. She is a past chair of the board of directors for the National Council for History Education. Brugar teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary and secondary social studies education. Previously, she was a middle school social studies teacher in Maryland and Michigan.
