Louisa Connaughton

Louisa is an elementary math educator who has been teaching for over 20 years. She believes deeply that every child is mathematically brilliant and has focused her work on creating equitable and supportive classrooms where each student’s mathematical ideas can thrive. Louisa has spent most of her career as an elementary homeroom teacher in grades 2–5. She is currently a pre-K–6 math specialist working with both students and teachers to improve access to high-quality math instruction for all.
