Marva Hinton
Freelance Journalist
Marva Hinton is a freelance journalist and editor based in South Florida. She’s particularly interested in issues concerning literacy and equity. Marva has written previously for Education Week, School Library Journal, and National Public Radio. She also hosts the ReadMore podcast, an interview show that primarily features authors of color.
Marva holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a double major in political science. She also holds an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.
