Nancy Ironside
Middle School Math Teacher
Nancy Ironside teaches fifth and sixth graders math at Science Leadership Academy Middle School, an inquiry-driven, project- based school in Philadelphia. She seeks to instill a love of mathematics in her students through meaningful projects, exciting problems to solve, and equitable grading practices. In her free time she likes to hike with her two adult sons, George and Charlie, to work with her partner, Mike, in their vegetable gardens, and to do math with anyone who is interested.
