Polly Diffenbaugh
Senior Clinical Associate at the Stanford Teacher Education Program
Polly Diffenbaugh holds a master's degree in science education and a bachelor's degree in biological science. She is a senior clinical associate in science education with the Stanford Teacher Education Program. She teaches science methods courses to preservice elementary and secondary school teachers as well as supervises student teachers in their year long school placements. Currently, she is pursuing a master's degree in biology with Project Dragonfly at Miami University of Ohio. She has been nature journaling for more than 10 years and teaching it in her preservice classrooms for almost as long.
Her student teachers often send her photos and stories about the work they are doing with their students as they spread the interest and connection that can be found through observing the world.
