Rachel Levy
Professor of Mathematics
Rachel Levy is a professor of mathematics and associate dean for faculty development at Harvey Mudd College. As vice president for education for the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), she has advocated for mathematical modeling education connecting K–16 to careers. She co-authored the report “Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Mathematical Modeling Education” and founded the BIG Math network. This summer she will become the deputy executive director of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
