Rachel has worked in a variety of classroom settings including teaching GAT students, teaching technology and science, and working as a instructional consultant. She received her B.A. and teaching certificate from Western Washington University.
Rachel is passionate about her work as she believes that the ability to think critically and creatively is essential for the future of our planet. Rachel is also the author of over 120 nonfiction books for children on a variety of topics as well as several teacher resource books for Evan-Moor.
Rachel lives near Seattle, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, teaching her dog to do adorable tricks, crocheting crooked hats, biking, and traveling.
