Samantha Betancur

Originally from Wisconsin, Samantha currently resides in North Carolina working as the Outreach Coordinator at the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. If she is not traveling the state presenting live-animal programs to schools, you can find her developing or leading programs that help the public connect to the marine environment (hopefully becoming future Jacques Cousteau’s). She is also working towards her graduate degree with Project Dragonfly, a Master of Art in Science program through Miami University in Ohio where her primary focus is to connect people to nature and encourage them to become environmental stewards.
