Sarika S. Gupta

Sarika S. Gupta is a senior researcher with the Straus Center for Young Children and Families at the Bank Street College of Education. She has prepared early childhood teachers across universities in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and New York City. She partners with leaders and state agencies to conduct research that addresses pressing issues in early care and education systems. She is currently directing a research study in partnership with the NYC DOE Division for Early Childhood Education to learn how preschool programs support the inclusion of children who are at risk for and/or have developmental delays or identified disabilities. She has authored a book and numerous articles on inclusion.
