Shana Bestock

I am an educator, writer, youth theater director, and nonprofit director with over 30 years of professional theater experience. I'm currently the producing artistic director of Penguin Productions, and for 17 years prior I was the artistic and education director of Seattle Public Theater, where I wrote curriculum, advised teachers, and taught students for a robust year-round program of both in- and after-school classes, workshops, and productions. I have directed over 200 productions with student ensembles, and was recently awarded a Fulbright Specialist grant to continue my work internationally.
