Shannon Schinkel
Humanities and Drama Teacher
Shannon has been a humanities and drama educator in Prince George, British Columbia, for 25 years. She’s also a blogger, speaker, cofounder of the Assessment Consortium of British Columbia, and administrator of Beyond Report Cards on Facebook, a group of over 1,800 people that shares ideas about assessment and the redesigned British Columbia curriculum. She is also a 2022 recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
