Shawn Maas
Media Specialist and ELA Teacher
Shawn Maas is a graduate of the University of Miami and has taught English, theater, and film at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida, since 2002. He currently serves as media specialist in The Wave, Cypress Bay’s media center. He was named Teacher of the Year for 2020 and is a current member of the American Library Association, American Association of School Libraries, Florida Association of Media in Education, Broward County Association of Media Specialists.
