Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men, Englewood Campus, is an all-black, all-male, 9-12, Title I school in Chicago. As one of three Urban Prep Academies in the city, along with Bronzeville Campus and West Campus, Englewood emphasizes rituals, relationships, and respect to rewrite the narrative of African American males, empowering students to succeed in college and transform their communities.

  • Since 2010, 100% of graduates have been accepted to a 4-year college.
  • 1 out of every 9 African American males enrolled in college from Chicago in 2015 graduated from Urban Prep.
  • The daily attendance rate of 94% is higher than the national high school average.
